Quick Facts
The Grande Prairie Regional Agricultural & Exhibition Society is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1910 which oversees the development & daily operations of Evergreen Park.
Evergreen Park is one of the Peace Regions natural treasures encompassing more than 600 acres just 3km south of Grande Prairie, Alberta. Evergreen Park is the largest full featured exhibition facility north of Edmonton and includes a new Racing Entertainment Centre, which hosts 99 Casino slot machines and sports lounge. A variety of halls, pavilions and other special features make the park a unique and versatile setting for any event. With more than 350,000 people visiting the site each year, Evergreen Park has become one of Grande Prairie’s major tourist attractions.
Evergreen Park proudly offers continuous entertainment and fun in a quiet country forest setting.
The new Trade Exhibition and Conference Centre facility is currently home to various Agricultural, Petroleum, Forestry, Car, Truck, RV, Home, Sports, and Off-road Vehicle Shows, Conferences, Dinners, Symposiums, Workshops, Service Club Meetings, Parties, Cabarets, Weddings, Funerals/Memorials and more. Just over 115,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space and breakout rooms for small or large events/functions. Excellent setting for wedding/group photographs. We welcome you to visit our Racing Entertainment Centre which offers customers/visitors the opportunity for off track betting, (both live & simulcast racing), slots and/or just to relax and enjoy chef inspired meals @ the famous/fully licensed ”Track” restaurant and lounge open year round. The Gordon Badger Stadium is the stage for our 1/2 mile & 5/8 mile oval tracks for Live Racing. The Horses (Horse Racing Alberta) are active @ Evergreen park annually from June through September (Thoroughbred, Quarterhorse and Standard Racing) - see our event calendar on our website for dates and times.
Open May through September the Stompede Campground features 75 fully serviced sites nestled in the beauty and fresh air of our Evergreen forest. Safe playground area for children, firewood/pits, clean public washrooms, showers and laundry facilities. “The Track” restaurant offering chef inspired meals, daily lunch specials and fully licensed lounge is within walking distance of the campground.
The Lewis Hawkes and Drysdale Centre are the home to our new Boarding Program, various Horse Sales/Shows, Sheep Herding and other clinics which are available to the public.
Clarkson Hall is now the location of Ovations Dinner Theatre! Visit Evergreen Parks website for shows and times.
