The action won’t just be inside at the ENTREC Centre this week for Guitars & Wagons.

While Peace Country musicians such as Jordan Leaf, Chance Tomke, Jake Matthews, Matt Patershuk, Duane Steele and TJ Ruckus are among the musical acts set to hit the stage, there will also be plenty of rodeo and chuckwagon action on the Gordon Badger Stadium track at Evergreen Park.

The event marks the second stop on the 2017 Western Chuckwagon Association circuit.

WCA driver Eric Rever, of Manning, is coming off a Dash for Cash victory at the GP Stompede, while Derek Aebly was crowned the 2017 WCA Stompede aggregate champ.

In addition to the WCA, the All-Pro Chuckwagon and Chariot Association will be hitting the track.

Both the All-Pro and WCA chucks are competing Thursday to Sunday.

Mini wagons hit the track first at 5:30 p.m., followed by the All-Pro chucks at 6:15 p.m. and then concluding with the WCA at 7:15 p.m.

The event also includes the Keddie’s Bling & Barrels – 3D Ladies Barrel Racing – on Saturday and Sunday, as well as mini buckers and a heavy horse pull.
