Come join us in watching Seabiscuit (2003) in the Grandstands at the Evergreen Park Race Track with your pillow and blankie and recieve a complimentary bag of popcorn on Saturday August 7th, 2010.

The doors will open at 9:00PM, and the movie will begin once it gets dark enough outside to see the movie on the screen. The movie itself is 141 minutes long and is rated PG-13.

The adminssion fee is by donation.

If for some reason the weather decides not to co-operate the movie will still be played, but the location will change from the Grandstands to the TEC Centre inside of the big hall.

Are you looking for place to board your horse this winter?  Evergreen Park can help!

We are pleased to be bringing back the Horse Boarding and Riding program for the 2009-10 season.  Last winter was very successful as we begin looking forward to another great year and we’re hoping you can join us here at the Park!

The program will be opening up approximately Thursday, October 15th 2009, and close April 15^th, 2010 tentatively. Due to issues that were encountered last season, there have been some changes made to the program for the upcoming season.

BOARDING PROGRAM

Monthly boarding fee will be *$450 (including GST) and will include:

• 10 x 10 indoor stall
• Daily cleaning of stall
• Hay and water (animal(s) will be fed and watered 2-3 times per day)
• Monthly rider pass
• Oats
• Outdoor turn out
• Blanketing for turn outs (blanket must be provided by owner)

 (*First month’s rent will be due at the time of submitting the application document.)

 There are limited spots in the program, and will be dispersed on a first come first serve basis.   

 All Boarders are asked to provide copy of insurance as a participant in the Boarding program.  Alberta Equine Federation (AEF) membership is acceptable.  For more information, please go to website:   www.albertaequestrian.com

RIDER PASSES

• Annual Single pass – $275.00 (includes GST), valid through to April 15, 2010
• Annual Family pass – $450.00 (includes GST), pass provides for total of up to four passes, two adults and two children (children to be 17 years or younger), valid through to April 15, 2010
• Monthly Pass – $100.00 (includes GST), valid for the month purchased only, 1^st day to last day of the month. Next month pass can be purchased beginning the 25^th of each month
• Rider passes use is restricted based on arena rentals and operating hours
• All Riders purchasing a 2009 / 2010 rider pass will be asked to provide copy of insurance as a participant in the Rider program. Alberta Equine Federation (AEF) membership is acceptable. For more information, please go to website: www.alebrtaequestrian.com

GENERAL CONDITIONS

• New for upcoming Season – Rider passes be photo ID cards this season. This will require the holder of the pass having photo taken prior to start of the season
• New for upcoming Season – limited hours of operation and access to the facilities are being introduced for the upcoming season. The facilities will be open for general access to the stalls and riding arenas from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. The facilities will have “restricted access” between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.
• New for upcoming Season – proof of current vaccinations is not required for participation at events and activities at Evergreen Park. It is strongly recommended that all horses have their vaccination record updated on a regular basis, upon direction from licensed veterinarian.

ARENA RENTAL INQUIRIES

$400 + GST per day rental, based on 8 hour event or

$60 + GST per hour  for events of 6 hours or less

** Rates are applicable for the Lewis Hawkes Pavilion  or the Drysdale Centre

** minimum rental is for a 2 hour period

** rental agreement for the use of the facility must be signed prior to the event taking place
