DESCRIPTION:Family Fun Day is all about the kids! \nBouncy castles\, games and treats – all for free. \nIt goes Sunday\, August 9 at The Horses @ Evergreen Park. \nFamily Fun Day is one of several special events held during The Horses @ Evergreen Park. \nHere is a complete list.: \nJuly 5: Free Hot Dog Day – the season opener. \nJuly 12: Baconfest – fundraiser for the County of Grande Prairie Firefighters Charitable Foundation. \nJuly 19: Wiener Dog Derby – dogs running in the dirt. Too much fun! \nJuly 26: Derby Day featuring the GP Oaks and GP Derby and Derby Brunch. \nAugust 9: Family Fun Day – for the kids. All free and all fune! \nAugust 15-16: Memorial Weekend – honoring those who are no longer with us who have made an impact on the sport of horse racing. \nAugust 23: Mr. Mike’s Paint The Park Purple – Race For The Cure. This is to create awareness about pancreatic cancer. \nThere is no admission fee and first post is 1:15 p.m. \nThere is a beverage tent\, indoor and outdoor betting stations\, and both the Pines Family Restaurant and Wild Horse Casino & Lounge are located in the same venue. A $8.95 full breakfast (9-11 a.m.) is the feature menu item at both the restaurant and lounge. \nThe restaurant and lounge open at 9 a.m. and betting on the 99 slot machines and VLTs starts at 10 a.m. The restaurant is open until 8 p.m. and the casino until 1 a.m. daily. \n
