DESCRIPTION:Free hot dogs are on the menu opening day at The Horses @ Evergreen Park Sunday\, July 5. \nThe hot dogs\, being cooked on the J.D.A. barbecue\, will be handed out until supplies run out. \nFree Hot Dog Day is the first of 16 race days over the summer at J.D.A. Raceway and one of several special events planned for the live parimutuel racing season. \nOthers include: \nJuly 12: Baconfest. \nJuly 19: Wiener Dog Derby \nJuly 26: Derby Day (GP Oaks and GP Derby) \nAugust 9: Family Fun Day \nAugust 15-16: Memorial Weekend \nAugust 23: Mr. Mike’s Paint The Park Purple – Race For The Cure \nThere is no admission fee and racing goes every Saturday and Sunday (and holiday Monday\, August 3) until August 23. \nFirst post for every race day is 1:15 p.m. \nThere is a beverage tent\, indoor and outdoor betting stations\, and both the Pines Family Restaurant and Wild Horse Casino & Lounge are located in the same venue. A $8.95 full breakfast (9-11 a.m.) is the feature menu item at both the restaurant and lounge. \nThe restaurant and lounge open at 9 a.m. and betting on the 99 slot machines and VLTs starts at 10 a.m. The restaurant is open until 8 p.m. and the casino until 1 a.m. daily. \n  \n
