SUMMARY:40th PEACE COUNTRY CLASSIC AGRI-SHOW
DESCRIPTION:The Peace Country Classic Agri-Show is celebrating its 40th year March 12-14. \nSince 1986\, this annual event at Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated agricultural showcases. \nEach March\, the three-day show brings together farmers\, ranchers\, families\, and businesses for a wide range of events\, including a bull sale\, kids’ auction\, horse program\, and hundreds of exhibitors inside and outside the TARA Energy Services Centre. \nJoin us as we celebrate four decades of agriculture\, innovation\, and community in the Peace Country. \nShow hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. \nThe Show kicks off with the New Horizon Co-op Exhibitors Breakfast on Thursday. Open to exhibitors only. \nAll three days the public can stop by the 100-plus exhibitors booths inside and outside the TARA Energy Services Centre. \nThe Peace Crafts Show & Sale goes both days in the MD of Greenview North Wing Grand Hallways during Show hours. \nFriday it gets busier. \nThe 23rd annual Northern Classic Simmental and Charolais Bull Sale goes in the Drysdale Arena in Foster’s Pavilion at 1 p.m. \nFriday is also the day the Keddie’s Horse Program kicks off in the Lewis Hawkes Arena in Foster’s Pavilion. \nIt goes 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday with clinics and demos and 2-8 p.m. with a trade show. Saturday the clinics and demos and trade show go 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. \nFriday and Saturday\, in the Lewis Hawkes Arena\, Bandaged Paws will be in attendance with their cats and dogs. \nAlso Saturday\, the Dawson Creek Co-op Youth Livestock Program is being held in the Drysdale Arena starting at 9 a.m. \nSaturday is also the day the Bids From Kids Auction is being held. Bring a Food Bank item and drop if off at the RBC exhibitor booth in Evaskevich Hall and you will receive some “cash” you can use to bid on auction items. \nOver the entire three days of the Show a 50/50\, sponsored by Canyon Rigging\, will be held with the winner drawn at the end of the Show. \nAnyone 18 or over can take part in the Explore The Ag Show Passport Program. \nWhen entering\, a rack card with participating exhibitor’s logo on it will be handed out. Get each exhibitor on the card to stamp their logo box and you could win $1\,000. \nFor all 40 years of the  Ag Show there are four exhibitors who have been involved in every one – County of Grande Prairie\, Culligan\, Keddie’s and  RBC. \nThe Ag Show committee and the community thanks them for the long-time support.
