DESCRIPTION:For the third year in a row Evergreen Park is hosting an Indigenous Celebration Presented By Ovintiv June 6-7 at J.D.A. Raceway at Gordon Badger Stadium. \nThe two-day event is the Park’s way of saluting our Indigenous friends and having them showcase their history and culture. \nThe weekend\, besides the popular Indian Relay races\, will include drummers and dancers as well as an Indigenous trade show under the grandstand. \nFunds raised through sponsorships and ticket sales will be returned to the Indian Relay racing teams; the drummers and dancers; other Indigenous individuals involved in the weekend; and the Park. \nTickets will be on sale through the Evergreen Park website at www.evergreenpark.ca and sponsor info is available on the back of this page. \nOver 6\,000 attended the 2025 event and 4\,000 were at the first event in 2024. \nThere are sponsorships available.
