For the third year in a row Evergreen Park is hosting an Indigenous Celebration Presented By Ovintiv June 6-7 at J.D.A. Raceway at Gordon Badger Stadium.
The two-day event is the Park’s way of saluting our Indigenous friends and having them showcase their history and culture.
The weekend, besides the popular Indian Relay races, will include drummers and dancers as well as an Indigenous trade show under the grandstand.
Funds raised through sponsorships and ticket sales will be returned to the Indian Relay racing teams; the drummers and dancers; other Indigenous individuals involved in the weekend; and the Park.

Over 6,000 attended the 2025 event and 4,000 were at the first event in 2024.
