Experience the thrill of live pari-mutuel horse racing every summer at J.D.A. Raceway in Grande Prairie, located at The Horses @ Evergreen Park.

The 2026 racing season begins July 5 and ends August 23, featuring 16 exciting race days on Saturdays and Sundays (and holiday Monday, August 3).

Highlights include crowd-favourite special events such as the Wiener Dog Derby, Baconfest, Derby Day, Memorial Weekend, Family Funday, and Paint The Park Purple – Race For The Cure.

At Evergreen Park, horse racing isn’t just an event—it’s a celebration of speed, tradition, and community. As the only facility of its kind in the region, Evergreen Park delivers an unforgettable experience for both passionate bettors and families seeking excitement. With live thoroughbred racing, thrilling Indian Relay Races, and a vibrant trackside atmosphere, each race day offers something special. A Day at the Races
