Evergreen Park Thanks Ovintiv for Returning as Presenting Sponsor of 2026 Indigenous Celebration
Evergreen Park is proud to announce that Ovintiv will once again serve as the Presenting Sponsor for Evergreen Park’s Indigenous Celebration in 2026.
The 2025 event welcomed more than 6,000 attendees to J.D.A. Raceway at the Park, featuring the thrilling and popular Indian Relay Racing. This marked continued growth from the inaugural 2024 event, which attracted more than 4,000 attendees.
The two-day celebration is Evergreen Park’s way of honouring Indigenous communities by providing an opportunity to showcase their rich history, traditions, and culture.
The 2026 Indigenous Celebration is scheduled for June 6–7 at J.D.A. Raceway at Gordon Badger Stadium. Along with the highly anticipated Indian Relay races, the weekend will feature traditional drummers and dancers, as well as an Indigenous trade show located under the grandstand.
Funds raised through sponsorships and ticket sales will directly support Indian Relay racing teams, drummers and dancers, other Indigenous participants involved in the weekend, and Evergreen Park itself.
