Get ready for the thrill of live horse racing at Evergreen Park! The Horses @ Evergreen Park season kicks off Sunday, July 5 at J.D.A. Raceway with free admission and fun for the whole family.
Watch the excitement on the track while kids enjoy the region’s largest sand pile, complete with toys, and the popular New Horizon Co-op Candy Toss after Race 4 every race day.
Opening Day features free hot dogs while supplies last, and the fun keeps building all summer with special events including:
- Wiener Dog Derby – July 19
- Derby Day – July 26, featuring the GP Oaks and GP Derby
- Open Farm Days – August 2. Locally produced farm to table food.
- Family Fun Day – August 9, with bouncy castles, games, and extra treats
- Baconfest – July 12
- Memorial Weekend – August 15-16
- Mr. Mike’s Paint The Park Purple – Race For The Cure – August 23
Racing runs every Saturday and Sunday through August 23, plus holiday Monday, August 4, with first post at 1:15 p.m.
